Ideas for caring about your school!

1 John 3:16 says, "This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters." We need to show people what God’s love really looks like as well as tell them!

Care about specific friends...

  • ask them “how can I pray for you?”
  • eat lunch with them
  • buy them coffee
  • write encouraging notes
  • grab food after school
  • invite them to church

Care about groups of friends at school...

  • throw a pizza party for the basketball team
  • provide lunch for the cast and crew of the musical
  • have a party for another student club
  • make a spaghetti dinner for the football team
  • write encouraging notes for your teachers
  • give a gift to all of the incoming freshmen or graduating seniors
